Refurbishment
When local public transport carriages are outdated, they can be rebuilt with the help of a partial or complete refurbishment and restored to their best for many years of everyday mobility. Cleff supports these refurbishment processes with vehicle windows, vehicle doors, partitions and a large number of spare parts, such as new handles, glass with add-on parts and seals. Typically, it takes several years before a vehicle is refurbished after it was originally equipped. Over this time, we have often optimised processes and improved materials, which means that spare parts can possibly be used in better quality than the original parts.
We are open to all refurbishment projects, whether they involve vehicle windows - as is currently the case with the "Durability BR 481" project for the refurbishment of the Berlin S-Bahn (urban railway) series 481 - or smaller projects such as the refurbishment of an island train or a small railway.
