What is different for fire and rescue?
Operation under time pressure, with gloves, in the dark. Doors and windows have to open reliably when it counts – and close tight again afterwards.

Why is cold an issue for glazing?
In frost, seals harden and condensation forms on the inside. Insulating glass and suitable sealing materials keep the pane clear and operation smooth.
