Two or more panes bonded by a tough elastic interlayer. If the glass breaks, the interlayer holds the fragments together – the pane stays in place as a surface.
Typical application: Windscreens, driver protection, areas requiring fall protection.
Two panes with a defined cavity. This reduces heat transfer and cuts condensation on the inner surface.
Typical application: Air-conditioned rail vehicles, vehicles in winter service.
It holds back the UV component of sunlight, protecting the interior and passengers from the radiation that fades materials.

Through pane build-up, thickness and interlayers. Different build-ups damp different frequency ranges, which is why the build-up is chosen for the application.

Colour is printed onto the glass and fired in during toughening. The print sits permanently in the glass – it cannot flake off and is UV-stable.
